Union Sportive Carmaux Voile

The association carries out its nautical activities on the water plan of the Roucarié in a green and quiet. The nautical base has the quality labels awarded by the FFV and offers an efficient education with qualified instructors.

Located in the heart of Ségala Tarnais is the lake of Lake Roucarié.
U.S CARMAUX VOILE has been operating on the Roucarié dam, in the town of Monestiés, since 1961. The 64-hectare lake allows the practice of sailing in all its forms. Optimist, laser, dinghies, catamaran, windsurfing, canoeing, pedal boats, stand up paddle so many activities to discover on the lake.

The Club’s Palmarès is eloquent, with competitors who have participated in World Championships, European or many international regattas, and honourable titles obtained in 470, LASER, and Radio-controlled Sailing.
It is particularly in this last category that USC Voile riders excel by regularly placing the club for several years in the top 5 places of the national ranking of clubs.

But USC Voile is also a sailing school, where are organized courses and courses of initiation, improvement, competition, and training of sailing instructors. Several Educators and Certified Instructors work within the club to provide quality education.

It is also , a wide opening to Leisure sailing , with windsurfing boards and catamarrans that can be rented on site.
The Nautical Base which offers structures adapted to the Sailing activity, is open from March to the end of November.
Competitions are organized every year on the water.
