1st category fishing routes around Brassac

In Brassac, upstream of the tennis court at the start of the gorges just outside the village.
It is a circuit of about 3.5 kilometres classified in 1st category
category. You'll be fishing mainly for fario trout.
You can park easily at the EDF plant in Brassac, which is situated
after the bridge on the right, about 500 m from the centre of the village next to
the holiday village.
The first white fish appear downstream from the village.
In Brassac, you can explore the old village and its historic monuments
full of history (12th century bridge, the only bridge with that of Albi to be
historic monument, castle, etc.).

Basket gallery
Wicker is the annual offshoot of the willow tree, made up of flexible branches. This tree is found in the cool, damp areas of the northern hemisphere and comprises 350 species. Along the banks of the Agout and its tributaries, you can't fail to admire the bright branches of this tree. Traditionally, people gathered the flexible shoots of the willow after the leaves had fallen to make baskets in the off-season, when work in the fields was dormant. An interesting collection is on display on the 1st floor of Brassac town hall.
