Picnic area at the Caillé cross on the Singladou trail.
Don't forget to stop at the small kiosk, which provides a wealth of information about the Hautes Terres d'Oc and the "Pays de Margnès". From the picnic area, take the track that climbs up to the top of the hill.
The climb to Puech Cornet, which rises to just under 1,000 metres (979m), and its panoramic viewpoint offer a magnificent 360° panorama of the open spaces, with the meadows covered in broom, gorse and various flowers and the Sagne de Sète in the foreground. In the background are the surrounding mountains and, in the distance, the Montagne Noire with the Pic de Nore.
On a clear day, the view of the Pyrenees from the orientation table is sublime.
To extend your wilderness adventure, continue on the Singladou hike, which takes in the highest point of Le Margnès at over 1,000 metres, with another exceptional viewpoint.
