East of Albi, from St-Juéry on, starts the high valley of Tarn. One of its jewels is the peninsula of Ambialet, at the gates of the Alban mountains. and of the Séguala. There, the Tarn outlines draws an impressing meander, in the middle of which the little village of Ambialet is nestled. This strategic place has lived an eventful history, the remnants of a medieval seigneurial castle are still to be found there, the St Gilles church and the Priory dating back to the 11th century. The gîte is situated in the very heart of the village, between the banks of the Tarn and the path leading up to the Priory. Your stay here will peacefully unwind, along the rhythm of the river and of the touristic activities on site : angling, canoe, walks and hiking, etc.. On the 1st weekend in August , the village festival finds place, a moment of congeniality and get-togethers. You will not miss of course an escapade to Albi and its famous Episcopal City , classified World Heritage by the Unesco.
