The cottage is surrounded by fields, a few kilometers from the village of Montans. You can quickly reach the Toulouse-Albi motorway to explore the Tarn region.
Albi is nearby, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its imposing cathedral, voted the most beautiful cathedral in France.
You're next to Gaillac, where winemakers welcome you to their estate to taste the local wine. You can also explore the surrounding hilltop villages: Castelnau-de-Montmiral, Puycelsi, and Cordes-sur-Ciel.
THE GITE:
The house is large and has been given a new lease of life over the years. This former barn offers ample space for a family vacation in spacious surroundings.
On the ground floor:
- 2 kitchens: range cooker, microwave, refrigerator, filter coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, etc.
- Veranda with dining table and living room with sofa bed for 2 additional people
- Second playroom with fireplace
- Separate toilet
Upstairs, the sleeping area:
- A large bedroom with a trundle bed for 2 single beds and a 160cm double bed
- The other two bedrooms each have a 140x190cm bed
- A bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet
- A second, larger bathroom with 2 sinks and a shower. Separate toilet in the hallway
Large garden in front of the veranda, plenty of space. In front of the house: a concrete courtyard that will delight little ones for scooter or bike rides, and parking for cars. Behind this concrete courtyard is a company warehouse, but you'll especially appreciate the large garden on the other side of the house, just in front of this beautiful, bright veranda.
The cottage is detached, but as it's a former barn with large volumes, a little girl's passion for art has led to the creation of a stage to host occasional performances. The cottage is closed to the public during these performances, ensuring a peaceful holiday.
