Aussillon Village

"Historic birthplace" of Aussillon: it is the "old village" where some vestiges of the medieval castle are still visible.

The history of the village is therefore 
intrinsically linked to Mazamet and its golden era of the wool trade.


The industrial development, during the 20th century, leads to a progressive urbanization of the city.
