Public garden close to the town centre.
In 1715, Sir Gauthier de Boisset, salt storehouse Receiver, had Frascaty private mansions built.
Beaudecourt mansion is built nearby, after 1760. Fortifications gaps are filled and in their location, the present boulevard des Lices is aligned. A elm grove is planted in the triangle formed by Frascaty mansions, the park of Beaudecourt mansion and a part of the boulevard.
This place is initially called "Les Ormeaux de la Porte Neuve" and is replaced, in 1865, by Fracaty public garden.
